Plum Students Are Achieving Great Things

As we move into spring, fresh energy is in the air.  It's a great time to celebrate our students' accomplishments while looking ahead to even bigger goals.  Their hard work, creativity, and dedication continue to strengthen our schools and community.  Learning is in full swing across our schools, and students are diving deeper into their studies, engaging in thoughtful discussions, and growing in their skills every day.

Get to Know Our Staff: Gretchen Wilson

This is Ms. Wilson’s first year in the Plum Borough School District and sixth year teaching English. She teaches yearbook, college writing, and ninth-grade English and serves as the poetry club sponsor and English Department Leader for Plum Senior High School.

Building STEM Skills through K’Nex Competition

Talented seventh and eighth-grade students from Plum Middle School recently competed in a K'Nex competition, where they successfully built an impressive Rube Goldberg machine! Their creativity, teamwork, and engineering skills were on full display as they designed a complex, chain-reaction contraption that amazed both the judges and spectators.
