The District is committed to providing a safe work environment for all employees. Employees injured in the course of their employment shall, within twenty-four (24) hours of the injury, report the accident to their Supervisor and Human Resources (Benefits and Workers' Compensation Coordinator) to complete the necessary steps. The workers' compensation system protects employees and employers. Employees receive medical treatment and are compensated for lost wages associated with work-related injuries and disease pursuant to the Pennsylvania workers' compensation law, and employers provide for the cost of such coverage. Workers' Compensation is a benefit that is managed through a third-party vendor.

- The district uses Frontline Education for reporting Workers' Compensation incidents. Supervisors are to complete the incident report on Frontline’s online portal.
