The varsity flag football team hosted the crossover weekend on Sunday with 10 teams from different divisions showcasing their talents at Plum High School Stadium.
The Mustangs opened the day with a 12-0 shutout against Bethel Park, before falling just short of the goal line on a 16-13 loss against Clairton.
On the day, Kayden Young led the team with an offensive and defensive touchdown. Caydence Morgan also had an interception returned for a touchdown and had five receptions.
Hannah Woltjen had seven receptions and Kaylee Rodriguez completed 15 passes. Rodriguez and Chloe Quarles led the team with five flag pulls.
The Mustangs improve to 5-2 on the year.
They will travel to Jeannette next Sunday to face Greater Latrobe and McKeesport at 3:30 and 4:30 p.m.
