Building STEM Skills through K’Nex Competition

Talented seventh and eighth-grade students from Plum Middle School recently competed in a K'Nex competition, where they successfully built an impressive Rube Goldberg machine! Their creativity, teamwork, and engineering skills were on full display as they designed a complex, chain-reaction contraption that amazed both the judges and spectators.

Through this competition, our students applied principles of physics, problem-solving, and innovation, demonstrating not only technical skills but also perseverance and collaboration. Their hard work paid off, and we couldn’t be prouder of their achievement!

A huge congratulations to the winning team: Frank Altieri, Finn McKinley, Charlie Meyers, and Dylan McItosh for placing first!  Also a huge shout-out to all the teams for their dedication and ingenuity.
