Holiday Park Schedule During Delay/Closing

Below are the procedures in the event of a two-hour delay or school closure related to weather and emergencies.

• If there is a two-hour delay, nothing changes from the traditional approach. We delay and then transport students to the schools. 
  
  

• If there is a closure, we will follow the following schedule below. 
  
  

  • (First Day) will be a Remote Learning Day:

    • Students can begin checking their Google Classroom for assignments/directions @ 10:15 AM. We will operate on a 2-hour delay to provide time for teachers to prepare their Google Classroom and for students to get settled into the day.

    • Students are to work asynchronously.

    • Attendance is tracked through work completion based on the assigned due date.

    • Teachers are available for support via email during regular school hours (10:15 AM - 3:00 PM) 

  • (Second Day) will be a Plum LEARNS Day:

    • Students are to be logged on to the Google Meet (found on Google Classroom) for live instruction starting at 8:15 AM. We will operate on a normal school day (8:15 AM - 3:00 PM) 

    • Students will work synchronously. Live instruction is occurring based on your student’s regular schedule for the day.

    • Attendance is tracked through participation on the Google Meet. Students must log on and remain on as directed by the classroom teacher. 

    • Teachers may release students to work independently but their live meets will remain open.
