Ethan, a student at Holiday Park, holds a deep sense of patriotism. In addition to aspiring to one day attend the Naval Academy, he has undertaken a project to celebrate our freedom.

In order to foster civic pride, Ethan dreamed up the idea of having American flags installed on the light poles along Mike Thomas Way in Plum, near the new municipal building. The industrious student has been busy making this goal a reality. He has raised enough to fund the first stage, enabling flags to be installed along Mike Thomas Way!

Ethan plans to extend Patriotic in Plum by installing flags along major roadways like Golden Mile Highway. Contributions can be sent via venmo to @AFNesbit (put Patriotic in Plum in the comment) or by check, mailed to Ethan’s father, and Pivik teacher, Jim Nesbit, 231 Red Oak Drive, Plum PA 15239.
