Peer Tutoring Program

Peer Tutoring is a program sponsored by the GATE students. Students in need of tutoring, as identified by teachers, counselors, self, or parents are matched with a GATE student. These students meet during their study halls and work on a specific subject, or an academic need such as organizational skills or test/quiz preparation.

Once the request is made, it is forwarded to the GATE advisor and every attempt is made to match the student with an available tutor for some or all of the days requested. It’s wonderful to see students empowering one another through this program.
