Operation Safe Stop
In support of National School Bus Safety Week and Operation Safe Stop, the Plum Borough School District and Plum Police Department will recognize student and pedestrian safety during the week of October 22 - 26, 2018.  

On Wednesday, October 24, 2018, school officials and the Plum Police Department will systematically monitor student bus stops throughout the District.  The Plum Borough School District’s first strategic goal is to keep our schools safe. Children are our first priority.

Costume Collection Drive
Plum High School's REACH OUT Club is conducting a Costume Collection drive for needy children. Please drop of your gently used Halloween costume(s) at the high school or at Oblock Junior High. Boxes are located throughout each building.
Thanksgiving Dinner for Families in Need
If you are aware of any family in need in this upcoming Thanksgiving season please let REACH OUT know. Please email me with the name, address, phone number and number in the family, and REACH OUT will furnish them with a full Thanksgiving dinner. Please pass the message, forward, to any other counselor or administrator missed throughout the District. They do not have to have kids in the system or live in Plum; neighboring communities are fine. Please plan to help. All questions can be directed to Ron Sakolsky at
Oblock’s REACH OUT is seeking the names of any Oblock/Plum graduate who unfortunately lost his/her life as a soldier for our U.S.A. REACH OUT is designing a commemorative memorial stone to honor them. Activity Buses
PHS activity buses are now running at 4:15 and 5:30.
Registration hours are from 8:15 -11:45 and 1:00 - 3:00.  Please contact Regina Bauer at 412-798-6393 with any questions regarding registration. 
McKinney-Vento Letter
In compliance with the federal McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act, as reauthorized in 2015 by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), Plum Borough School District is attempting to identify all children within the district that may be experiencing homelessness.  Click to read more.
