Communications Corner: Who Said it Couldn’t Be Done?



March is Women's History Month and it's a time when we recognize women from various backgrounds and life experiences and celebrate their contribution to our society. This month marks a time to reflect on and examine the 19th amendment and the conditions that led to its construction. March 8th marks International Women’s Day, when communities around the world celebrate women’s achievements and efforts to forge gender equal societies.   The District is sharing a healthy and informative App campaign throughout the month, examining pivotal points in women’s history. Highlighting the contributions made by women that span different cultures and backgrounds is essential to obtaining a more comprehensive overview of women’s history.   Each academic building integrated women’s history month into their curriculum. Students expressed their observations and shared what they learned about concepts such as fairness, kindness, innovation and equality through various assignments and projects.
