The Plum Borough School District will be operating on a two-hour delay tomorrow, January 22nd, 2019.  All morning activities at each building are canceled. As a reminder, morning Kindergarten is canceled, but afternoon Kindergarten will proceed as normal.

Seniors Take Flight with Scholarship

Air Force Junior ROTC Cadet Major Alexandra Ralph and Cadet Technical Sergeant Carter Campbell, seniors at Plum High School, have each received scholarships! Valued at over $20,000, each student will be able to attend an accredited aviation university and participate in a Private Pilot License training program this summer. Congratulations! Boro Donates to PBSD

Plum Boro Council Donates Funds for District Safety

Investing in the security of our students is one of our primary District goals. As we continue to implement the recommendations from our safety assessment audit, the Plum Boro Council has generously donated $160,000 for a new security office and vestibule at Plum High School, new security software for our students’ computers, safety bollards at all sites and new fencing at Center Elementary School. Welcome: Office Locke, Officer Harnish

The Plum Borough School District is proud to introduce Officer Joseph Locke and Officer Craig Harnish as the newest members of the Plum Borough School District Police Department. Officers Locke and Harnish began training in the District on December 17, 2018. Their first official day in their assigned buildings was January 2, 2018. Read More

Plum Borough SD First in the Nation

PBSD works diligently to keep our schools safe. The District continuously strives to identify additional avenues by which to maintain this effort and improve. The Plum Borough School District recently completed key training from the United States Transportation Security Administration (TSA), a division of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. This training places our district as the very first bussing school district in the nation to complete all four of the TSA ’s security evaluations from Base Assessment for Security Enhancement (BASE) to Exercise Information System (EXIS) training.
