Plum Senior High School students launched “The Fall Monologue Project,” an innovative way for them to share
their artistic talents with a virtual teaching and coaching model, allowing for the exploration of relevant material.

THE CAST AND CREW
...is a junior and has participated in two Plum High School musicals. She has been taking acting lessons for several months and a part of East End Kids for a year. She would like to thank her family for their support and Mr. Mitchell for his guidance.
...is a junior and her favorite Plum performances are Myth Adventures and The Wizard of Oz. She has participated in productions with Pittsburgh Musical Theater being, A Lyrical Christmas Carol, Chicago, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Macey is looking forward to performing again!
...is a senior and has previously participated in the musical. She plans on pursing a four-year degree in computer science or software engineering. Lily would like to thank her family, her cats, Mr. Mitchell, Clark, and God for this opportunity!
...is a sophomore, and has been involved with every production and project so far. Last year she was cast in both Twelve Angry Jurors and Beauty and the Beast, and this year took part in the fall monologue project. She’s looking forward to many more shows to come.
...is in 10th grade and participated in PHS’s Beauty and the Beast as a special magical castle object. She enjoys singing and playing the flute. She would like to thank God, her family, Mr. Mitchell, Clark, and her stuffed animals (who didn’t judge her when she practiced her monologue in front of them).
...has been doing theater since his sophomore year of high school. He is a senior this year and plans on majoring in drama and theater performance in college. His most memorable role was Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast, sadly the production was cancelled because of COVID-19. Nico would want to thank Mr. Mitchell and Clark Van Beek for helping him prepare and practice these monologues, and Mr. Fishell for helping the department make this public.
...is a junior and is excited for the opportunity to perform again! She’s trained with PMT, Pittsburgh CLO, and Broadway to the Burgh. At Plum, she was seen in The Wizard of Oz (Glinda) and Myth Adventures (Echo). She’s also performed in numerous professional productions in downtown Pittsburgh.
...is in 10th grade. Previously he performed in the high school’s 2019 fall play, 12 Angry Jurors. He would like to thank Mr. Mitchell for putting together an opportunity for the theatre kids to perform during a time when doing a show wasn’t possible. Enjoy the monologues!
Clark VAN BEEK
...has been helping with Plum theatre productions for all four years of his high school career. He's thankful for the guidance from Mr. Mitchell and other teachers.
