Biographical Information:
Dr, Szarmach is a proud 2002 graduate of Plum Senior High School. Upon graduation, Dr. Szarmach received his Bachelor of Science degree in health and physical education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
In 2007, he became a health and physical education teacher at Plum Borough School District. In 2012, he received his Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Gannon University. While attending Gannon University, he also completed the Administrative Leadership: Principal Program along with attaining his Supervisor of Curriculum Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
At the start of the 2016 school year, Dr. Szarmach began his administrative career as an Assistant Principal at Plum Senior High School. In 2021, he completed his doctorate degree and earned his superintendent letter of eligibility from California University of Pennsylvania.
