DIGITAL HOLIDAY PARK SUMMER READING AND MATH PROGRAM
Holiday Park Elementary has been working to combat summer learning loss by encouraging students to access free online tools designed to promote reading and maintain math skills during the summer break!
To engage student learning over the summer months, instead of a Summer Math and Reading Packet, Holiday Park Elementary is excited to launch a NEW Digital Summer Math and Reading Escape Room!
Components include:
Standards-Based Questions & Content for ELA and Math
Links to Prodigy Math & Math Fact Fluency Practice
Audio Books Uploaded from 5th and 6th Grade Summer Reading Lists ( A Special thanks to HPE /PTA Funding)
Fun Challenges: Including Uploading Art in World pictures, Summer STEM Challenges, HPE Active Challenge, & CHAMPS (HPE Positive Behavior Management Program) Challenge
Our students had a busy year learning new reading and math skills and concepts.
Practice with the Holiday Park Digital Math and Reading Program will help build upon the previous year’s skills and concepts. Each student will complete challenges of their choice in the Escape Room. Once completed, the student will upload a picture that they completed and Escaped the 4th/5th Grade.
Please spend some time with your child going over the Holiday Park Digital Math and Reading Program and forming a "game plan" for their completion. Students are expected to turn in ALL completed work by the first day of school in the Fall.

You and your classmates are locked in an interactive puzzle-filled environment and have exactly one summer to escape!
Our escape rooms will challenge how you think, how you communicate ideas, and how well you can solve problems. In order to escape, you will need to traverse hidden objects, codes, puzzles, and secret areas… they all stand between you and escaping your grade before summer runs out!
You will need to use logic, skill, and speed to escape codes, puzzles, and secret areas that all stand between you and the solution to ESCAPE your grade!
If you successfully escape, a reward event awaits you this Fall 2019 at HPE!”
