The Resignation of A Board Member
As we stated previously and without hesitation this week, the Plum Borough School District vigorously disagreed with, and condemned, the Facebook content that was re-posted on a former Board member’s personal account. We did so in the strongest possible terms. Today, we validated those words by accepting the resignation of Mr. Wisniewski, and also passing a resolution censuring his actions and resolving that all students, employees, and members of our community have the right to expect that they will be treated with respect, dignity, and tolerance.
This District has made tremendous strides and we will not allow this unfortunate incident to deter us on our relentless path to excellence and the critical work of exceptionally preparing our students for success.
