A Place to Collaborate
OBLOCK JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL; PLUM HIGH SCHOOL  |  ONE MINUTE READ

Collaboration rooms are becoming popular as a tool to harness the power of working together. Two spaces have been created in our District, one at Plum High School and the other at Oblock Junior High School.

Collaboration rooms provide learning spaces for students and/or or faculty who wish to work on classwork, projects, professional development, and any other activities. These rooms are not set up like your traditional classroom. A collaboration room has mobile tables and interactive televisions that are on wheels for quick reconfiguration and engagement with participants. Students and/or faculty can create an individualized and unique seating arrangements, while utilizing District-issued Chromebooks to mirror their computer screens to one or more televisions in the room.

Both collaboration rooms were conceptualized by the District's administrators and brought to life by the Technology Department.
