Partnership Focuses on Student Success in Critical Areas

Holiday Park Elementary School will be partnering with EVERFI for their Digital Summer Learning. Each grade level will receive 18 weeks of focused instruction using their Clever Securer Sync that addresses critical learning areas, math and literacy. Rising 5th grade students will participate in EVERFI’s Summer Slugger’s Digital Course which is a fully “gamified” student-paced digital learning program focused on factual and procedural knowledge as well as memorization through topics in spelling, vocabulary, and numeracy. Rising 6th grade students will participate in EVERFI’s Hockey Scholars Digital Course where they will focus on math and science, reinforcing concepts like scientific thinking, data analysis, foundational STEM concepts using real-life applications. Holiday Park Elementary School is dedicated to helping students maintain and improve the foundational skills they’ve learned over the year, avoiding regression increases as students move to higher grades and put a stop to achievement score decline. Students can continue to learn over the summer months with fun, baseball-themed games thanks to Major League Baseball. “HPE is committed to engage our students with the latest technology and learning throughout summer months to prevent a “summer slide.” HPE has joined forces with EVERFI to offer continuous, engaging, and memorable learning experiences that can reinforce critical skills, allowing students to enter next school year on track.” — HPE Summer Enrichment Committee For more information on Summer Slugger: https://everfi.com/courses/k-12/student-summer-learning-program/ For more information on Future Goals: https://everfi.com/courses/k-12/hockey-scholar-stem/
