Athletics Department Streams Events
PLUM ATHLETICS | ONE MINUTE READ
New athletic fields were constructed over the summer months, offering students a place to maintain their physical fitness as they work as teams, encourage sportsmanship, and build competitive spirits. Many students have begun training on these fields, marking the beginning of the 2020 fall season.
This year, parents will be able to view games and events on the freshly painted fields with AthleticsLive, the District’s new streaming service. It’s a great alternative for those who are not able to attend an athletic event, need to be at two events at one time, or prefer to enjoy activities from where they are. According to Mr. Josh Shoop, Athletics Director, “The improvements made at the Plum Senior High School stadium will benefit all of our student-athletes as well as the student body and community. The creation of AthleticsLive will increase event viewership, further supporting our students the best way possible. Our new state-of-the-art facility will truly allow us to measure against the best!”
Football, soccer, baseball, softball, lacrosse, and track and field teams will use the new fields. All teams will have access to the fields for practicing, scrimmaging, and competing. Tournaments will also be held on the grounds.
