We are moving full speed ahead to celebrate the Class of 2020! Our graduating seniors have worked hard to achieve this milestone and we admire their courage and commitment despite the obstacles life has thrown them.
The District wanted to celebrate their achievement and created the Senior Shout Out, a highlight reel of this special class. This special slide show brings you up close and personal with each graduate in a way a commencement ceremony probably never could. It shares details of their future plans, special memories and experiences with fellow students, teachers across the District, and their thoughts about how to handle life’s curve balls. The more than 200 profiles can be found on the homepage of the District website under the heading #plumproud2020. Join us in learning more about these brave young men and women and congratulating each participating senior as he or she ventures off into a different world.
On Thursday, May 28, 2020, the Plum Borough School District will present its first-ever Virtual Graduation. The ceremony will be viewable both online and simultaneously projected on outdoor jumbo screen(s). The graduation ceremony will livestream on the District’s website, and Tribune Review will run it on their website at a later date. Each generation, molded by the characteristics of the time they grew up in, has their own unique challenges. Our students have what it takes to turn obstacles into opportunities, to stretch and grow in both attitude and aptitude, and to tackle the major challenges looming over our nation and the world. In the face of the uncertainty and chaos of the last few months, the Plum Borough School District is committed to making sure we give our students the recognition they deserve and help them make the kinds of memories that will last a lifetime.
