Last month, the Art Club at Plum Senior High School kicked off its first annual Paint Night for more than 45 of their friends and family members of Art Club students. Student instructors presented painting fundamentals and guided attendees as they put their own twist on painting a winter scene.

This year, the Art Department decided to combine the Paint Night with an Art Show, making it a wonderful time for artists of all ages and backgrounds to gather and express their creativity and make new friends. Paint Night was organized and facilitated by Art Club President Sadie Evanov, Vice-President Gina Pivorotto and Treasurer Aaron Fredrick.

Plum Senior High School Art teacher Mrs. Pieper said, “I am beyond proud of this group of Art Club members. They have really stepped up and took charge of organizing so many cool parties and events. They have become such great role models for our younger students. I look forward to more successful events that will be planned in the future.”

Mrs. Keri Weio, a parent, said, “the students planned, organized, and executed everything perfectly.”

The next Paint Night will be held this spring. Get your brushes ready!
