Hello #PlumFamily,

Like clockwork, the New Year always feels like a new door, a new beginning. You’re full of energy and excitement about what lies on the other side, whether that’s a new exercise regimen or a new way to look at an old budget for that next adventure or much-needed repair, or simply a new way of looking at old ways of thinking. Whatever you choose, the year - and all of the possibilities it can bring - is yours for the taking!

January 18th is the day we set aside each year to observe the work and sacrifices of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., who led efforts to achieve equal rights for African-American people that resulted in historic and unprecedented legislation, the Civil Rights Act of 1965. His stirring words and nonviolent protests against discrimination in all forms, from housing, schools, movie theatres and swimming pools to employment and opportunities for advancement, are never more important than they are today as we watch the fight for equality for all marginalized and disenfranchised people and groups continue.
