The students inspired me to take on this leadership role. They deserve every opportunity to succeed and we as educators need to put them in the best situation possible to leave this school district with the ability to become talented individuals.

What inspired(s) you to take on this leadership role?
I like to be part of making positive changes rather than being someone to complain about things that aren't working.
Is there any additional information about yourself that you would like to share?
I have a wife and 3 kids (Ages 9,11,13). I have a passion and love for any and all things numbers. I am also someone that loves sports and the outdoors. I have a bucket list goal to visit every National Park.

Currently working on my dissertation for my Doctorate in Education in Special Education through Slippery Rock University.

What inspired(s) you to take on this leadership role?
I have been a Department Chairperson since 2012. Before that, I was a member of the Superintendent's Curriculum Council and Academic Council. As a proud Plum Borough School District teacher, I want to be an active participant in helping to drive our district to help our students in the best way possible. I have always sought to be a positive agent of change in the constantly changing field of education. Their are new changes happening in the world all around us and I want our students to be fully prepared to take on these new and exciting challenges.
Is there any additional information about yourself that you would like to share?
I am the proud parent of three daughters that are Plum Borough School District students and the lucky husband to an amazing Kindergarten teacher at the YMCA. I love teaching and seeing the growth in my students from the beginning of the year to the end. I am always amazed by the students' ability to accept challenges and to look for new opportunities. This year, my students were able to successfully start their own business, HP Makers Company, and learn real life entrepreneur, teamwork, and problem solving skills.
