The District recognizes the use of electronic communication is
a valuable educational tool. The purpose of this letter is to inform you of the
means in which the school communicates with students and families
Email
Every student is provided with an email account to communicate
within the district. Students are able to check email at school
and home. The link can be found on the
front page of the district website. Usernames are in the format of [email protected]
and the password has been created by the student. The District maintains the
right to examine and inspect any email communication. We encourage you to talk
with your child about how to access district email accounts.
Sapphire
Teachers can post assignments and announcements to their
classroom portal.
Google Classroom
Teachers can post assignments and announcements to their Google
Classroom. Your child’s teacher may or
may not utilize Google Classroom. It is an optional resource. Please visit the
website for a tutorial . Hover over the “District”
tab and select “Educational Technology”

Moodle
Teachers can post assignments and announcements to their
classroom Moodle page. Your child’s
teacher may or may not utilize Moodle. It is an optional resource.
Remind
Teachers can communicate with both students and parents who
have subscribed to their Remind
account. This is a one-way communication
channel. Your child’s teacher may or may not utilize Remind. It is an optional resource. Please visit the website for
