Online Device Payments
The Plum Borough School District accepts electronic payments for device insurance. Before you purchase insurance, please verify which device your student has. If you visit the
One-to-One Device Renewal Schedule, it will show you the graduation year of the student(s) and which device model they should have.
Some students may have a permanent device that is different than the first device they were assigned. Below are a few different ways to identify which machine you have.
- You can turn the computer over and read the label on the bottom (if it's still visible).
- On the login screen of your device, press ALT-V and the serial number will display in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Example: SN: 5CDXXXXXXX
- You can then send that serial number to [email protected], and one of our technicians will get back to you with which device model you have.

Need a Charger?
Chargers are NOT included in Chromebooks insurance. If you lose your district provided charger, you can purchase one below, or you can buy one on your own based on the model of your Chromebook. When turning in your Chromebook at the end of its life cycle, you MUST have a charger with it.
