Attention 7th and 8th graders interested in participating in track and field:  Please be sure to turn in a valid physical or recertification form and make sure that you are registered for track on Family ID by March 9th.  The first day of track practice is Monday, March 9th at Oblock. You must have all of your paperwork completed and approved, in order to participate at practice. 

Attention Students and Staff:  The library will not be open for study halls in the library on Friday.  Only student volunteers and students coming to exchange books will be permitted.  

Attention Students:  Oblock's Art Club is inviting you to an art making event with the Pittsburgh Center for Creative ReUse. It is called Reuseapolooza and will focus on reusing materials to help the environment and making art. This event is free and includes supplies and an art making experience for students and families. Reuseapolooza will take place Friday, February 28 from 6 - 8 pm in Oblock's cafeteria. Please RSVP on Oblock's website if you are coming to this free event.

Attention spring softball players: Thursday Feb 20 - Pitchers and catchers will have practice from 6-8 at the High School in Aux GYM and GYM 2. NO Saturday workouts

Attention Chess Club:  There is an upcoming chess tournament in Plum! It is Saturday February 22 at 10:30 am at the Plum Community Library.  Go to the chess club google classroom for details. If you need access to the chess club google classroom, please see Mr. Kalanja.

Attention Girls Volleyball: The girl's volleyball teams are dismissed at 1:55pm today for their away match. 

Attention Students:  Reach Out is collecting bags of bite-size candy for the Easter Egg Hunt.  Drop off your donations in Mr. S’s Room 111.

412 Food Rescue Program:  Please place any unopened food packages in the box on the window seal to help those in need.

Public Service Announcement Contest

Looking for motivated 7th/8th grade students to submit a 30 to 90 second video addressing the dangers and negative effects on vaping. The video should be about the dangers of vaping and the consequences that follow.  The video can be live action, animation, silent film, interview style or slide show. **The actual act of vaping is not allowed!**

Prizes will be awarded for the first, second and third place teams.  *Please no more than 5 students in a group.

Videos must be complete and ready to show by April 24, 2020.  Sign up with Officer Locke in the front office.

Videos will be judged by content, quality and Must be clean.
