Distinguished Alumni - Class of 2014

Frank W. Jones, Esq.
Class of 1963
Frank has served as solicitor for the Plum and Burrell School Districts. He is a Director for the Probate and Trust Law Section of the Allegheny County Bar Associations and has held positions on various other boards and organizations. He is a member of The American College of Trust and Estate Council, a national organization that recognizes outstanding contributions from lawyers in the field of estate and trust law. He has been designated a Pennsylvania “Super Lawyer” annually since 2010.
 
Ella Mortland Koscik
Class of 1983
Ella is the owner and CEO of MDI Group Inc., a professional consulting and staffing firm. She is recognized with over 50 industry, community, and philanthropic awards. She was one of 3 women elected to represent over 35,000 certified women business owners by serving on the National Board of Directors for Women’s Business Enterprise National Council in Washington D.C. She created The Ella Marie Foundation, specifically working to help women and children in need.
 
Robert J. McCann
Class of 1976
Mr. McCann is chief executive officer of UBS Group Americas and Wealth Management Americas. A committed philanthropist, he is on the board of the American Ireland Fund, the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York, and the McCann Learning Centers of Bethany College, which provides support for students with learning challenges. He is also a supporter of No Greater Sacrifice, an organization that funds the education of servicemen and women who have been wounded or killed in the line of duty.
 
Harriet Lee Mulholland Miller
Class of 1966
Lee has been a successful entrepreneur in the wine industry for 30 years, co-owning and operating Chaddsford Winery in the Brandywine Valley. She has co-authored books about the eastern American wine industry and started the magazine “Wine East.” She founded the Brandywine Valley Wine Trail and is involved in the development of a new multistate wine trail which includes Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland.
 
Robert P. O’Block
Class of 1961
Mr. O’Block held positions for 30 years at McKinsey & Co., Inc., a worldwide management consulting firm. Since his retirement, he serves as a board member for several nonprofits and continues as a senior consultant to a wide variety of business , nonprofit, and public sector organizations in the United States, Europe, and the Far East. He is also Vice Chairman of the Boston Symphony Orchestra Board of Trustees and the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Board of Trustees, a Harvard Teaching Hospital.
 
Col. George A. Pivik
Class of 1989
Colonel Pivik has served in Korea, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Iraq, and the Pentagon. He commanded the Georgetown University Corps of Cadets, ranked the top program out of 272. He served as a White House Fellow and as the senior policy advisor to the Commander, U.S. Central Command, who oversaw the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. After retirement, he accepted an executive director position at JP Morgan Chase & Company.
