Plum Borough School District is partnering with One2One Risk Solutions to provide accident protection for our technology initiative. Families must enroll each student device at the One2One website and choose to either accept or decline or decline the insurance. Purchasing the damage waiver will protect you from the cost to repair or replace your District-issued device and limit your responsibility to a per-occurrence deductible, should a loss occur.
Please keep in mind that this is an anual fee.
To Accept InsuranceGo to the One2One website. The device premium of $35.00 and/or deductible payments must be paid directly to the insurance company.
Families are highly encouraged to purchase the insurance via credit card. Electronic payments are secure and accepted online for convenience.
If you desire to pay by check or cash, you must purchase an "insurance cash card" at your school. Checks are the preferred method of payment for this option. All checks should be made payable to the Plum Borough School District and include the student's first and last name in the memo field of the check to ensure that your payment is correctly recorded. Upon payment, the District will provide you with an insurance cash card with a pre-paid code which will need to be entered at the One2One website.
If you have more than one student receiving a device and choose to pay by check, please submit a separate check for each student. Families with more than two students will receive a "Family Cap Pricing Discount" while signing up.
*Families with more than two students will receive a family pricing discount when signing up. There is a $70 limit per household. The discount will be split among the students in the household.
To Decline Insurance
To decline the insurance option, enroll the device at the One2One website and select "I Elect Not to Participate." If you decline insurance and need to enroll at a later time, please email [email protected] and include your student's name, school building, and grade level. State that you would like to opt into the insurance program and allow the District 24 hours to get back to you.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding any part of this process, please email [email protected].
