Biographical Information:
Mrs. Amy Baumgart-Eiben is the Director of Special Education and Student Services. She joined the Plum Borough family in August of 2022. Mrs. Baumgart-Eiben comes to Plum Borough School District with many years of experience in both urban and suburban settings.
The first ten years of her career were spent teaching exceptional children with a focus on fostering connections with kids and their families. During the next 15 years, she chose to seek out leadership positions where she could have a larger impact for children. During her time as an administrator, Mrs. Baumgart-Eiben focused largely on improving inclusivity in the community, building relationships with students, staff, and families, focusing on addressing mental health and safety challenges, utilizing data for improvement, and pandemic recovery. She will continue to support Plum Borough to be exceptionally prepared for success.
