Dear Families of the Plum Borough School District,
As we have all become aware of the tragedy that took place this weekend in Squirrel Hill at Tree of Life Synagogue, we are all searching for the reasons why these senseless events keep happening. But, we will continue to move forward and look to do all we can to make our schools a place where all students feel welcome and know they are cared for.
We wanted to you to know that the Plum Borough School District will be there for your children if they are struggling to deal with news they have heard or coverage on the airwaves. Our counselors will be available for your children if you feel that may be necessary. Please don't hesitate to reach out to your school's counselor or principal if you believe there is any way the District can assist your child in coping with this unspeakable event.
