Attendance and Academic Success
There is a correlation between consistent school attendance and academic success. Teachers, students, and families establish those habits during the first semester of the school year to ensure students are ready to learn each day. Examples include evening and morning routines to maximize rest, homework routines to prepare for the next day, and healthy eating routines to fuel their bodies through full schedules of learning and activity.

The Plum Borough School District is committed to making sure all students fully benefit from their education by attending school regularly. Regular attendance helps children feel better about schooland themselves. Your children can start building this habit in preschool to learn right away that going to school on time, every day is important. Consistent attendance will help children do well in high school, college, and at work.
