Students in Mr. Levarse's English 9 classes were taught Touchcast Studio, a free app on their iPads, by Mrs. Karkowski. In addition to identifying and explaining drama and poetry terms, they are creating modern interpretations of their selected scenes, filming them using green screen backgrounds. The groups will then edit the short films to show to the class.
Congratulations to Julia Lawrence and Greg Perez, who qualified by audition and participated in the PMEA (Pennsylvania Music Educators Association) All-State Concert Band and All-State Orchestra ensembles last weekend in Lancaster, PA. They rehearsed alongside some of the most accomplished student musicians in the state, under the direction of guest conductors of national acclaim. We are proud of these 12th grade students who have represented Plum in a very positive way. Bravo!
