Mr. Daniel Lauletta boasts over a decade of hands-on experience in the realm of computing. His journey began in his youth when he delved into programming, igniting a passion that propelled him through various roles in systems and networking. Notably, he ascended to the esteemed position of Director of Technology at Deer Lakes School District, where he honed his expertise.
In August 2018, Mr. Lauletta assumed the mantle of Director of Technology and Innovation at Plum Borough School District, marking a pivotal moment in his career trajectory. His commitment and proficiency led to a swift promotion to the role of Chief Information Officer in July 2023.
At the helm of the Technology Department, Mr. Lauletta oversees a comprehensive array of services spanning all five schools and transportation facilitiy, central administration, and support services. The department's purview encompasses the management of computers, mobile devices, networking infrastructure, wireless systems, printing solutions, telephony, interactive whiteboards/TVs, LCD projectors, and myriad other classroom and administrative technologies.
Under his guidance, the Technology Department boasts a cadre of highly skilled IT professionals adept in network administration, system administration, technical support, online learning facilitation, and educational technology. Their collective expertise ensures seamless integration and optimal functioning of technology across the educational landscape.
